Tenant guide

Moving is a busy and exciting time and we're here to make sure the experience go as smoothly as possible by giving you all the help you need under one roof. Renting a home can be a stressful and frustrating experience, and we try to ensure we are with you every step of the way.

To find your ideal property, we need to know as many details as possible about your requirements. The most vital information is;

  • The rental budget
  • The style of property (Terraced/Semi Detached/Detached)
  • The area
  • Move in date

Once we clearly assess your requirements, we will be able to match which properties will be suitable for you. From then we keep you informed and updated by phone, text, email and post.

Once we have recognised suitable properties for you, or you have been able to access these online, the next move would be to book you a viewing. Viewings are normally conducted between 8.45am to 5.30am Mon-Fri and 9.30am to 3pm Saturday, however we have dedicated staff that may be able to arrange a time out of these hours.  For the initial viewing we would strongly advise to bring along anyone who will share a decision in giving the ‘go ahead’ for your next property.

The viewing shall be at a time suitable for all parties, so please ensure you are able to confirm a time you will clearly be able to attend. If it is convenient for you, a member of staff can drive you to the property.

Once we have conducted the viewing, we will discuss with you whether it is suitable but we also advise to allow time to think and discuss whether it is right for you.

Once you are convinced you have found the right home, make an offer immediately! In the current lettings market we are in, most properties do not stay available for too long and to avoid disappoint we would advise to act quickly.

At times there maybe an opportunity to negotiate, however we do our best to ensure all properties are priced fairly for both landlords and tenants. All negotiations are handled by an experienced member of our staff and you are kept updated on the progression.
